  9. This directory contains IDL code used or referred to in
  10. the IDL documentation set. Files with the extension ".pro"
  11. are IDL code ready to be compiled into procedures or
  12. functions. Files with no extension are IDL batch files;
  13. these files are meant to be run from the IDL command line
  14. with the syntax 
  15.  
  16.   IDL> @batchfile
  17.  
  18. where <batchfile> is the name of the file.
  19.  
  20. Consult the file index.txt for a description of each file.
